2008 October 14 - Sigma Warmbloods hosted a very large and successful mare inspection with several mares achieving premium status. Many thanks to Mary Ann & Bill Bulmer and their helpers as well as Stephanie and Marilyn who helped to organize and braid 25 horses. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful feast afterwards prepared by Margarith. Thanks to all!

2008 September 14 - GLIMMERMAN wins the Southern Alberta Foal Futurity! This exceptional colt by Gervantus II out of M3 Desiree (Donner Bube / Iris de Notre Dame), owned and bred by Donna Hagen & Don Mc Phee of M3 Warmbloods. They write:

    "We were at the South Foal Futurity yesterday with Glimmerman.
     We won first place, so were very pleased.  He was scored 8.5 for swing and elasticity.  As usual he was just a sass and showed himself off."

2008 August 15 - KOBI W by Kingston out of Melanie by Mark's Pretender, won the FEI 5 Year Old Canadian Performance Futurity Dressage for the Pacific Division with a solid score of 8.0 to best a field of 5 entries. KOBI W was bred by Sigma Warmbloods and is owned by Mirrabook Farms, of Langley , B.C. He was ridden by Dale Thornton. Kobi is available for sale.

2008 August 12 - GAMOUR CH by Gervantus II completes the tough eventing to finish in 36th place Individual at the 2008 Beijing Olympics where the horse events were held in Hong Kong. Congratulations to Tiziana Realini of Switzerland on her success. Read More ...

2007 March: Dressage Canada announced the recipients of the Dressage Canada Horse Award (based on results from the 2006 competition season) in the March issue of the Equine Canada's Horse Life magazine.

Sigma Warmbloods congratulates Leanne Copithorne with Gamine W (pictured at left) and Lesley Hunt with Gardez both awarded Bronze at Training level. Lesley Hunt was also the recipient of a Dressage Canada Rider Award for 2006.
